Sheena Iyengar Wins 2024 SESP Scientific Impact Award

Dr. Sheena Iyengar, a member of the CUAFA’s executive committee, has been awarded the 2024 Society of Experimental Social Psychology (SESP) Scientific Impact Award. This prestigious recognition honors her influential 2000 paper in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, titled “When Choice is Demotivating: Can One Desire Too Much of a Good Thing?”

The Scientific Impact Award honors the author(s) of a specific article or chapter offering a theoretical, empirical, and/or methodological contribution that has proven highly influential over the last 25 years.
